On Thursday, April 25, 2024, the National Institute of Justice was visited by the French liaison magistrate with competences for the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Bulgaria, Simona Pavel, to discuss on topics of common interest with the Ad interim Director of the NIJ, Adrian Cerbu.
The dialogue was focused on continuing the collaboration between the National Institute of Justice and the Service of the magistrate liaison in the field of judicial training. In particular, was highlighted the opportunity to transfer expertise and best practices regarding the processes of training legal professionals and exploring the possibilities of cooperation with the National School of Magistracy of the French Republic.
Also, was mentioned the importance of the support provided by the partners to facilitate the participation of the beneficiaries of the National Institute of Justice in the activities organized by the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN).
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue in order to implement the initiatives aimed at judicial training of representatives of the justice sector of the Republic of Moldova.
