The training methods of future judges and prosecutors, but also of the acting judges and prosecutors, within the National Institute of Justice were discussed in the frame of a meeting of the NIJ representatives with a group of judges from the People’s Republic of China.
The delegation was formed by Hon. Mr. Yunteng HU, judge and Standing member of Judicial Committee, the Supreme People’s Court, Ms. LI Jing, judge and President of Hubei High People’s Court, Mr. SHEN Liang, senior judge and chief judge of No. 1 Criminal Division of the Supreme People’s Court of P.R. China, Mr. JI Luohong, senior judge and vice-president of Beijing High People’s Court, Mr. ZHANG Bin, senior judge and vice-president of Shanghai High People’s Court, Mr. GUO Qingbin, official of the International cooperation department of the Supreme People’s Court, Mr. FEI Geng, advisor of the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Moldova, and Ms. XIA Kexin, official of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Moldova.
On this occasion, Diana Scobioala, the NIJ Director, has spoken about the NIJ’s activity, the attributions of the institution regarding the initial training of the candidates to the position of judge and prosecutor, the continuous training of acting judges and prosecutors, but also about the distance learning courses available for the NIJ beneficiaries.
During the meeting, the Chinese part was interested in the perspectives and the priorities of the National Institute of Justice in the field of training and expressed its availability to collaborate for the organization of common training activities.
